Mistakes Like Love and Sex”Mistakes Like Love and Sex” by Madhuri Banerjee is the continuation of the ”Loosing my Virginity and Other Dumb Ideas”. Books by this author has got catchy title, may be that is the reason why I bought them. Once in a while I have this strong desire to read books by Indian authors that is why I have piled up my shelf with many books. To tell the truth I didn’t enjoy the first book as much as I did the second. I remember giving it 2 stars out of 5. But an incomplete story is not fun, so I picked up the sequel and I am happy that it didn’t disappoint me.

After serious heart breaking and many failed relations our protagonist Kaveri is back, but this time she is with a handsome Spanish boyfriend  and a lovely job in far away country. But nothing lasts forever, soon she goes through difficult breakup and she is back in India, searching for a good career and her dream man. But as usual Kaveri is Kaveri! she gets into a hot mess with a rich- older man,has hot sex with a Bollywood superstar and works as a Hindi teacher for an upcoming actress. One thing leads to another and she is standing where she was in the beginning, nothing is changed. But when she enters the world of Twitter may be she is at the right direction!

I liked this book better than the first one so my rating: 4 out of 5. I really enjoyed reading this book there were lot of twists and it was never boring.

right-fit-wrong-shoeRight Fit Wrong Shoe by Varsha Dixit is an Indian contemporary romance. I don’t know after how many months I picked up a book from an Indian author. I bought this last year but as I was busy with my crazy project of  completing the series I didn’t get opportunity to read this. I loved the book ”Xess Baggage” by this author and was eager to explore more of her writing. As I expected this book was easy and interesting read, I read it in single sitting. The romance and the sexual tension between the main characters captured my heart.

Nandini is single and independent woman with a beautiful body and a good heart. There is nothing exciting in her life she is this average Indian lady who stays with her parents and does an average job. But she has a dark past which comes chasing her for revenge. This dark past which she is so scared of is her ex-boy friend Aditya who wants to ruin her life so badly. What is the story behind this love-hate thing? What did she do to Aditya to make him hate her? How her life will change after Aditya’s entry in her life once again?

It is totally cheesy, melodramatic Bollywood type novel. But I loved the chemistry and that little tension between Nandini and Aditya. Their chemistry was perfect, it has been ages since last time I read a novel this filmy. My rating: 4 out of 5. I am looking forward to read the sequel Wrong Means Right End.

Never Let Me Go Sachin Garg”Never Let Me Go” is a story of engineering student Samar. In the beginning it starts off  as any normal love story but then it takes many twists and turns. This is my second novel of this author, first was ”I am not twenty four I have been nineteen for five years”. Never let me go is story of author’s life, about the year when he turned 21st. I missed out to read the first book where he says his story of 20th year- ”First Love”. I think that doesn’t make much difference now as it has a complete story as far as I know.

Samar Garg is engineering student in Delhi, living with his best friend , and having the most beautiful girl as a girlfriend he has everything in his life. A nice career to look forward to, never ending romance with Kannika, he is in paradise. But suddenly one day everything collapses, he escapes to Goa in search of something which even he was not sure about. But Goa is a place where every one comes in search of something or the other. Few people come to enjoy and drink, few come to relax, few come to get inner peace and few come to get girls. Samar could get everything he wanted out of these but he had come there to forget something. Working in a shack in a place where  Goa’s most exclusive and wild party happen,s will Samar forget what he wants to forget? Why did he run away from his paradise and what is his real story?

It is a good read if you are interested to read Indian novels, but then again it seems like non fiction after reading about the author and his note in the end of the book. Whatever it may be but it surely inspires me to write a novel. But problem with me is I know what should be the summary but I don’t know how to elaborate it in to a novel. I am sure one or the other day I will write a novel for sure. May be it will not be a hit but it will be impressive for sure 🙂

My ratings for this book: 3 out of 5.

Can Love Happen Twice”Wake Up call to the modern day lovers who have made it a fashion statement to love, breakup and quickly move on to find what’s next!”

After heart touching true tale of his love life -” I Too Had A Love Story”,Ravinder Singh wrote another book ”Can Love Happen Twice”. This time he let the readers guess if it is his real life story or fiction. After reading his second book I believe it is just fiction not like his first book where he reveals his painful  real  love story.

The day I finished ” I Too Had A Love Story” I had a question in my mind, what will happen to Ravin? How will he cope up with all the pain and broken heart? If he succeed in that will he able to love someone like he loved Kushi? This book came as an answer.  Book starts with a horrible fact told by his friends that he is in a re habitation center because love knocked on his door once again.  After Kushi is gone from his life in a terrible incident Ravin moves to Belgium and starts a new life there working in a new environment. But  his life changes upside down when he meets Simar. What happens in his life for the second time? Why he was admitted to rehab? one have to read and find out.

I don’t think that this book is complete fiction either. May be he met Simar rest of the story is mixed with fiction and non-fiction. It is simple and heart touching, worth reading once. According to me Ravin has written this book with an intention of making today’s generation understand the real meaning of love. They think Love is all about roaming around, passing time, sex and breakup when you are bored. He mainly intends to say that when you break up with out any reason you not only break their heart but you break their dreams, love and life. Perfect Indian love story with simple romantic touch. I give it 3 out of 5.

What a name for a book?? Wow.. I was curius to know what is it about. I always fall for fancy names and book covers 🙂 So I bought it last year with two more books which I have already mentioned in my previous posts- “I too had a love story” and “Anything for you ma’am” (books form Indian authors) all three best sellers.

This book is a confused love story which has unexpected twist till the end. It was ok, not a dissapointment. Its written by 2 authors Durjoy Datta and Maanvi Ahuja. Coming to the story it is quite simple and well expected story from a guy who was just a fresh engineering graduate from a metropolitan city college in the year 2008. Deb always tries to find the best out of his girl friends and fails in it but one day he comes to a situation where he  finally finds his love. This is a book which contains at least one coinciding incident from any engineering graduate life starting from his college life to his final career life.

There are sequels to his first book,I would want to read it someday are-

Now That You’re Rich … Let’s Fall In Love by Durjoy Datta and Maanvi Ahuja.

She broke up, I didnt!.. I just kissed someone else by Durjoy Datta

Ohh Yes, I am single.. and so is my girl friend by Durjoy Datta and Neeti Rustagi

You were my crush… Til you said I love you  by Durjoy Datta and Orvana Ghai.

First book was a good time pass read 🙂 Hope to read his other books soon.
